Jesus isn't simply a historical figure or the founder of a religion.
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.
He came to reveal the Father's love, proclaim the Kingdom of God, heal the sick, restore the broken, set captives free, and reconcile humanity to God.
He lived a perfect life, willingly gave His life on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead three days later, defeating sin and death forever.
Today, He is alive, reigning as King, and continues to transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Why Did Jesus Come?
From the very beginning, God desired relationship with humanity.
Sin fractured that relationship, bringing separation, brokenness, fear, and death into the world.
Jesus came to restore what was lost.
Through His death and resurrection, He made a way for every person to be forgiven, made new, and welcomed into God's family.
But Jesus offers more than forgiveness.
He invites us into His Kingdom—a life marked by peace, joy, freedom, purpose, and the presence of God both now and forever.
The Kingdom of God
Throughout His ministry, Jesus spoke more about the Kingdom of God than any other subject.
The Kingdom is God's rule and reign breaking into every area of life.
Where Jesus is welcomed...
- The sick are healed
- The broken are restored
- The lost find hope
- The oppressed are set free and ordinary people become disciples who change the world.
Following Jesus means learning to live under His leadership while partnering with Him to bring His love and truth wherever we go.
What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
Following Jesus isn't about trying harder or becoming religious.
It's about surrendering your life to Him and allowing Him to make you new.
When we place our faith in Jesus:
- Our sins are forgiven.
- We are made new through His grace.
- We become children of God.
- We receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
- We begin a lifelong journey of becoming more like Christ.
- We are commissioned to love God, love people, and make disciples.
This isn't the end of the journey. It's the beginning of a brand-new life.

Your Invitation
Jesus is still calling people today.
Not because they've earned it.
Not because they have everything together.
But because He loves them.
His invitation is for everyone:
- Come
- Receive His grace
- Experience His freedom
- Step into His Kingdom
A Prayer of Surrender
If you're ready to begin a relationship with Jesus, you can pray something like this:
Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins and rising again so I could have new life. Today I turn away from my old way of living and place my trust in You. Forgive me, make me new, and teach me to follow You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me live as a citizen of Your Kingdom every day. I surrender my life to You. Amen.
